# Colombia Coffee Variety

Colombia is Cenicafé's original rust-resistant cultivar, released in 1982 from a cross of Caturra and the Timor Hybrid, years before leaf rust reached the country's farms. It later gave rise to Castillo and Tabi, and produces a floral, fruity cup with pronounced sweetness and citrus or red fruit notes.
